If you have gone through my previous postings you already know that my only cooked meal is Breakfast.
I have minimized using Coconut and Oil. And sometimes I use pinch of cornflour to make gravy.
Keep in mind, following are not the tastiest dishes at all. But they help me to reduce weight. And that is how I cook. Actually I fell sorry for my poor hubby ;)
Fish Curry I
Boil Fish with Curry powder, Chili powder & salt.
Optional: Add Curry Leaves (Karapincha) and Rampe (Screw Pine Leaves)
Add Coconut milk when fish is cooked.
Optional: Onion and Tomato can be added.
Fish Curry II
Roast Chili & pepper powder (preferably on a clay pot)
Add water and mix Malabar Tamarind paste (Goraka), Curry leaves and Garlic.
Let it cook.
Cucumber / Luffa (Vetakolu) Curry
Peel & cut into pieces.
Boil with water, Curry powder, Turmeric and Fenugreek (Olu Haal).
Optional: Add Curry Leaves (Karapincha) and Rampe (Screw Pine Leaves)
Add Coconut milk when it is cooked.
