Last week of kind of a disaster. There were several eating outs and I completely lost the track of my calorie intake. So i ended up gaining weight. :(

Week 01
Today is December 13th 2010, and my weight is 106.6kg. I am so happy! I have gone down :). During the past week there were two dinner outs. But i was quite concerned about controlling my food intake to 1200 k Cal.
Also i did not do a single exercise. :(. Will have to do it this week.

Fat girl went shopping and ended up overeating
Yesterday was a disaster.
I went shopping for a party wear dress. Spent the whole evening walking from shop to shop trying dress by dress. But could not find a single dress that fits . :(
I was so upset. You know what i did?
I went to a near by Indian restaurant and had dinner, a really heavy diet. I still do not understand why I did it. :(

When I am too lazy to cook
Well, though / cook only Breakfast, still there are certain days that i do not feel like cooking that either. Following are my alternatives for those days.
Sandwiches (approximately 500 kcal)
2 slices wheat bread, Cheese slice, Tomato
2 slices wheat bread, Lettuce (Salad leaves), Tomato
Fish Bun (approximately 600 kcal)
In general i take only 400 kcal for breakfast. Therefore these days I cut down my food intake to maintain the Calorie total at the end of the day. So I have only one Cream Cracker as Snack.

How I cook
If you have gone through my previous postings you already know that my only cooked meal is Breakfast.
I have minimized using Coconut and Oil. And sometimes I use pinch of cornflour to make gravy.
Keep in mind, following are not the tastiest dishes at all. But they help me to reduce weight. And that is how I cook. Actually I fell sorry for my poor hubby ;)
Fish Curry I
Boil Fish with Curry powder, Chili powder & salt.
Optional: Add Curry Leaves (Karapincha) and Rampe (Screw Pine Leaves)
Add Coconut milk when fish is cooked.
Optional: Onion and Tomato can be added.
Fish Curry II
Roast Chili & pepper powder (preferably on a clay pot)
Add water and mix Malabar Tamarind paste (Goraka), Curry leaves and Garlic.
Let it cook.
Cucumber / Luffa (Vetakolu) Curry
Peel & cut into pieces.
Boil with water, Curry powder, Turmeric and Fenugreek (Olu Haal).
Optional: Add Curry Leaves (Karapincha) and Rampe (Screw Pine Leaves)

So this is my diet plan to reduce weight. I should have an exercise plan as well, but have not figured that out yet. :) I am controlling my daily calorie intake to 1000-1200 kcal.

06.00 Fruit Juice (75 kcal)
07.00 Breakfast (400 kcal)
10.00 Snack- 2 Cream crackers (200 kcal)
12.00 1 Green apple (100 kcal)
Evening
02.30 Snack- 2 Cream crackers (200 kcal)
05.00 1 plain Yogurt (150 kcal)
07.30 Dinner (100 kcal)
And lots and lots of water all day long.
What do you think? Will it be possible? And yes, breakfast is my only heavy meal.

The Beginning
I am 29 years old and 5 ' 6" tall. I am overweight. I have tried to lose weight ever since i remember. But nothing continued. I am tired of being fat. I want to do something permanent. I will adopt a lifestyle of healthy eating and living.
Today is 6th December 2010 and my weight is 108.7 kg (239 pounds). My Goal Weight is 75 kg (169 pounds).
27 kgs (70 pounds)! yep a long way to go. Wish me luck to achieve my goal...
